An insightful and witty read

I was passed on Susie's book by a neighbour and was immediately intrigued. Not sure why, as I have been married for over 17 years and haven't dated for much longer than that! However, I immediately downloaded the Susie's book and found some time to dig in.
First, it is an incredibly easy and engaging read. Susie's innovative style with short snippets and email format was easy to digest and quick to get in to. I really enjoyed reading her fun and witty take on her experience. I was immediately taken by her courage, not only to do the five dates, but to reflect and write about her experience. It was well written.
Susie not only provides some good entertainment, but has a great motivational messages with insight for all.

Fantastic!

What an engaging story! Susie's book inspires each of us to get up on the "dance floor" of our individual lives. While reading "5 Dates....a Man- Plan", I felt as though I was a part of her journey and group of girlfriends. I found myself laughing with them and cheering for her along the way. This book is not only a call to each of us to live our lives without fear and reservation, but it is a celebration of a crucial support system which can be found within a close network of special friends.

Ms. Ashmore writes with the tone of that girlfriend we have known for years. Her story is relatable to its core and the 5 date plan is brilliantly simple.
The book itself is a breezy read and you find yourself reflecting on things you read long after you put it down.
She doesn't shy away from showing her vulnerability and honest feelings about the whole process.
I loved seeing the real emails from her " tribe" of girls. They are so real and warm. I laughed loud enough to wake up my guy when she was in panic mode about what could have been self inflicted social leprosy.
You don't have to be single or even female to be inspired by this great story. And if you are single this is a brilliant, straight forward approach to get you back out and dating.

From a guy's perspective, the title of this book may seem like a penned chick-flick, but let me assure you that the contents are universal. 5 Dates was an easy read, and I found myself riveted...wondering the outcome of each date and chuckling at the cast of characters that colourfully added to Susie Ashmore's wild journey of self-discovery.
What a concept. At some point in life, many of us go through these waters. 5 Dates will cause you to reminisce and inspire you to start your own journey.

Inspiring!

Fantastic ~ had me so so hooked from the beginning to the end!
This book is just not about 5 dates, it's about goal setting, positive practices and much more. Susie gives you a front row seat to her story and will have you simply unable to put this book down and have you wondering how everything will unfold.
I highly recommend this to anyone, regardless of being single, or being a man or a woman.
